Basic Butter Frosting

Ingredients:

• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 cup confectioners sugar
• 2 tablespoons milk, cream, sherry, rum or brandy
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar well, add the flavoring and liquid until mixture is smooth.
